That is where I get all my Napoleonic history from, tbh

I am reminded of Colquhoun Grant, a British intelligence officer during the Napoleonic Wars, who always wore full uniform, even behind enemy lines, because he considered himself a scout rather than a spy.

HAAAAAAAL!

My second favourite vampire in Being Human (second only to the magnificent Ivan) and utterly swoonworthy <3

Andy Serkis plays an incredibly Carcer-esque character in the otherwise appalling film Deathwatch so I second this.

Also, Young Sam recognising himself as Old Sam requires him to be aware of or to believe in the existence of time travel. If Young Sam has no reason to believe that an older version of himself could travel through time to the present day, he's probably going to go with the much simpler 'Hey, that guy looks vaguely familiar, who does he remind me of?'

I didn't know I wanted this, and yet.

I have been waiting so patiently for Mark to reach my favourite book and now that it's happening, *I'm* not prepared.

"AND THEN WE FIND OUT THAT SLOANE HAS A HORRIBLY CREEPY ATTACHMENT TO SYDNEY. I! DID! NOT! WANT! THIS! "

Ron Rifkin is probably a very nice man but unfortunately the first thing I ever saw him in was Alias so now he is forever CREEPY SLOANE THE CREEPY BAD MAN

I just replayed Discworld Noir a couple of weeks ago! Absolutely fantastic game and I will insist until I die that it is the best thing Rob Brydon has done. I'm glad you linked to RussianGestapo's LP as I was about to! It remains incredibly quotable.

I always mentally cast BRIAN BLESSED as the Baron.
