when I review a movie, I look at it like the film is an assignment turned in to a teacher. Every movie is trying to do something different, so with one movie getting a grade higher than another, it doesn't necessarily mean the movie is better. just about anyone who seriously reviews and critiques movies knows that because creative filmmakers each have a different goal they set out to accomplish with their movies, it's unfair to lump them into a list of best to worst based on alphabetical grade or a numeric system (i.e. Caddyshack is a classic comedy I'd give an A or A+ to, The Dark Knight is brilliant and would get an equally high score, but I think it's unwise to group one as being better than another because the goals and filmmaking are so different). in regards to Sucker Punch, I think Zack Snyder did a good job conveying the story (which is a hard sell) and action (which he's well known for).

agreed. nothing against ScarJo, but Emily Blunt reportedly turned down Black Widow for Iron Man 2. I think she would have been terrific

wow...worth the wait! Loving the backdrop of the Cuban Missile Crisis, but that should only be one facet of the story. i hope Matthew Vaughn balances the circumstances in the world at that time with the richness of the X-Men franchise

Chris Hemsworth is one of those actors who seems passionate about his work. I think everyone involved in THOR has taken the project seriously (possibly due to the professional demeanor director Kenneth Branagh) which is interesting considering the largely fantasy base of the story. Can't wait to see him in future projects

Zack Snyder has been working on the story for this movie for a long time, and at Comic-Con said it was his favorite project because it was so personal. Considering it's his first original story it's hard to say how much the story will be focused, but we can count on him making it look visually stunning.

I agree. the suit could end up holding people back from really liking it. it's unfortunate, movies should be appreciated or smashed to bits solely on the merits of the film.

i don't mind the title, Nolan's done such a great job with the franchise he could have titled it anything No Riddler is interesting, seemed like he'd be the perfect progression of story and character. Hoping there isn't any Killer Croc or Clayface (seem too unbelievable for the world they've created) WB seems split on 3D so i'm glad they didn't pressure Nolan into shooting 3D or post-conversion

I completely agree with this article. As a 23 year old male manager at a movie theater that does well over 1 million patrons a year, I know first hand the challenges that arise in attempting to give the best theater experience for customers. I also do the hiring myself, and just this week went through 70+ applications and picked out a lucky 5 for employment.
