There is a free 5k/10k starting at the LDS church building in Maple Valley this Saturday. They run down the trail to lake wilderness. The church is on Kent Kangley road in the 4 corners area of Maple Valley where Hyw 169 and Kent Kangley meet. The building is big with a white steeple you can't miss it. That is great this guy is putting on this marathon for free. My son is a poor college student and trying to do races like this on his income this would be great for people like him.

Costco has a great price on caskets and urns we used them last year and they delivered the casket right to the funeral home.

Yes there were Seattle people on that cruise. My daughter got married on May 1st and left Seattle for sunny California only to board a cruise there and come home to the great pacific Northwest. She was upset at first but they gave them some perks, credit to use on another cruise to Mexico later and credits to use for excursions on this sailing. What a honeymoon to come home to your home city!

We have had snow coming down most of the morning. We are about 4 miles east of Fairwood near Renton. We are at about 600 ft on a hill between highway 169 and Petrovitsky Rd. Our roads are still bad on our hill we actually broke a chain on the way to the airport this morning and slipped into a ditch as we tried to get back down our private road. Someone else couldn't make it up the hill so they parked at the end of our driveway and blocked half of the way in so we had to move to the side and slipped right in. I can't wait for the rain so we can get out to the mall tomorrow.

We just came home from Fairwood where it was raining and the roads were slushy and starting to melt. As we headed home east on Petrovitsky about halfway to Maple Valley it was snowing hard and we came home to lots of snow coming down and the roads were very slick and thick with snow and ice still. It doesn't look like it is going to melt at all tonight here where we are. I can't wait for it to start to melt so we can get out by Friday. I am definitely looking for that Knight to come slay my snow dragon.
