While I understand (and obviously don't agree with) the reasons for scrapping the playlists, I find it extremely interesting that IW wouldn't be honest with their die-hard fans. I'll even give IW the benefit of the doubt and say I wouldn't be at all surprised if Actvivision has their foot on IW's proverbial throat telling them not to release any updates that could potentially detract someone from buying COD: WAW.

I am not, and do not claim to be, an expert in game design and/or development and can't speak intelligently about the length of time required to create/test the playlists. What I am, however, is an expert in business. This is bad business. Bad enough to stop me from buying the next IW installment of COD? No. But bad business all the same. Honesty is always the best policy in business. Sure, you run the risk of pissing a lot of people off on the front-end, but, you will ultimately gain more respect from your customer base. Just my $.02

Time to come clean IW; Playlists were obviously scrapped. Epic failure.
