I had a big problem with it, since my randomized playthrough didn't have the sound byte that, you know, TELLS ME WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON. So I basically thought it was a load of pretentious bollocks. I *might* play through it again, just to see what I missed, but I most likely will get very depressed (and will probably still think it's pretentious). It took me a while to get into Minecraft, too. A conundrum with these types of games is, they're hard to describe. I didn't know what Minecraft was at first, just that it was mega popular and a bunch of my friends played it. I'm always deeply suspicious of "hey, play this, it's awesome! It doesn't matter what it's about JUST PLAY IT" so some of these are a hard sell. I did buy Stanley Parable based not on the demo, but their reaction video to Raphael (it's on their Steam page). So I still don't know what the eff it's about, but they spun the marketing juuust right.
