The Firmware Umbrella : TinyUmbrella 4.1.9 - Update

Tiny umbrella 4.1.9. is not launching (immediately quits after asking password to install and immediately quits without a message after that. Should i reset prefs or something? All other version up to 4.1.6 worked (and still work) very well on my Intel Mac Mini. V4.1.9 win on my virtual win 7 ultimate is fine. Only Mac version is having that trouble.

Hi ! I would send you a custom firmware if you like but it would be NO USE ! Because you jailbroke with Spirit, it seems that things are left modified by Spirit even if you reinstall official firmware... Same or downgrade. I am locked in this trap, like you are now ! I would send you a custom firmware if you like but it would be NO USE !

I already asked something close but it seems that Spirit leaves modified stuff behind even if you install an official firmware after that. I already ask the Spirit Team to make a Spirit Uninstaller. Otherwise your device will be Spirited marked for ever ?

Thanks, So Spirit leaves marks or traces on places untouched by firmware installation. We need then a patch to Un- Spirit Iphones before doing anything... I hope dev-team can do that...

Is an Iphone 3.1.2 Spirited will be OK to by pwnage tool 4.0.1 if i re-install an official 3.1.2. before... My question is Spirit leaving some kind of traces if i reinstall official 3.1.2 or not ? So a in another angle, Spirited Iphone are marked by Spirit in a way that a new firmware will not erase. Thank you

Hi and thanks Dev-team ! If my 3G 3.1.2 is jailbroken with SPIRIT, Is it safe if i install official 3.1.2 - i kept the ipw in my computer - (this should erase all Spirit traces ?) and then a Pwnage tool with 4.0 ? Or Spirit is leaving definitive traces in the Iphone ?

I read on Twiter of MuscleNerd that devices 3GS JB with spirit should stay away from updating. No problem with 3G, it seems. Is it a good idea to reinstal fresh 3.1.2 without Spirit before going up to new redsnow 4.0 ? Or it is just not needed...
