Have you even seen a picture of the USS Liberty? A ship like that can easily be mistaken for any number of vessels, I have and there is no mistaking it - especially to what would be a military force. How can a clearly marked US vessel be "mistaken"? They were flying a US flag and had clear markings on the side (visible in photos.) Just prior to the attack Israeli recon planes flew over their deck and Americans were out getting a tan. You are a useful idiot for the anti-Americans.
