Just so you know, I'm a woman. ;-) But anyway, you're right about today being more important than any political ideology. I agree with respecting the Office of the President, but lately that office is not being run by someone who acts like the president of a free, independent, sovereign nation. Do I have to respect the office of the dictators and communist leaders around the world, just because that's their title? Some of those guys were elected into office, too, look at Chavez. I swear allegiance to this country, not an individual or the title he holds. It's when you start believing that the position holds more weight than the man that little things can creep up on you without you even realizing it. Don't close your eyes. I've said it before...I'm Cuban, and this whole scenario just hits a little too close to home for me and my family. Take care and God bless.

I just call 'em like I see 'em. If it walks, looks, and quacks like a duck, it's a duck. Let's not even mention the fact that in his first book, Dreams of My Father, he states that he looked to associate himself with the more radical individuals in college, including the Marxist professors because that was the ideology he agreed with. I don't know about you, but I stick to my own. I'm not going to hang around with drug dealers because that's not who I want to be associated with. So yes, comrade is a term I feel very comfortable using, especially with all the federal government intrusion into the private system that's going on. Take care and God bless.
I heard about South Carolina. In an earlier post, I mentioned the fact that Obama had said in an interview that the problem with the Constitution was that it gave "negative liberties to the federal government and more power to the individual states". So no, I'm not surprised about what's going on in South Carolina. It's to be expected. But definitely not tolerated. Take care and God bless.
