Nick Hornby's Juliet, Naked is a pretty awesome book. But then again, so is most anything by Hornby.

One year I changed my profile picture on Myspace (yeah, it was a while ago) to a random sonogram I found on the interwebs so everyone thought I was pregnant. When they clicked on the picture it said "Lolz April Fooooooooolllllzzzz!"

This year I changed my FB status to "Engaged" and everyone lost their minds. My best friend even bitched me out for not calling her first. It was kind of mean. But funny.

I've already figured out the one I'm doing next year. It's quite elaborate and will take a lot of work on my part, but I am already pumped !

Alright, I'm going to actually be helpful for a change. I know, it's like, "freakineh being helpful? NEVER."

But after having travled through Europe this summer I can say that hands down the best thing I got for the trip was packing cubes:

These bad boys saved my life. They separate your clothes so that you don't have to sift through everything and repack every day. Need a T-shirt? Pull one out of the T-shirt cube. Need socks? Sock cube. I pulled an outfit together in a flash while the other idiots on my tour were digging through their suitcases trying to remember what was clean and what was dirty and then had to refold everything. HA HA, FOOLS!

Also, get one of those "space saver bags" for travel. You put your dirty clothes in them and it seals the smell so the rest of your clothes don't get tainted. Maybe they have a LaBamba sized one to help with that smell?*

Look for me at the LA show. I'll be sitting with a really tall Danish dude with a confused look on his face.

A 4.4 is a wussy earthquake. People were actually scared of that piddly little thing? It doesn't even really get exciting 'til you're above a 5. Just wait until you've been in CA for a couple of years. You'll sit there like the rest of us going "Should I get up? Nah."
