I don't think 41 months is enough either. But for someone who was coward enough to not ever come clean, I'm somewhat pleasantly surprised he pleaded guilty.

To those TD'ing this response, it's actually correct. This area has a vast amount of beetle kill (dead trees) that the Feds haven't let get cleared out. With such a large amount of dead, dry wood, this fire was inevitable.

KOMO - Seattle, WA : Orbitz toying with showing different deals on Macs vs. PC users | Technology | Seattle News, Weather

"The average Mac desktop costs almost three times as much as its Microsoft Windows counterpart" Completely false. Take a Mac desktop, and spec a PC with the same hardware/features and you'll see they cost about the same. The difference is, there's a lot of PCs with lower end hardware and there aren't many Macs with that.

"Our system is actually 99.9% accurate," That's not accurate enough. According to http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/News/2011/12/22_TollingOn... "More than 100,000 vehicles use the bridge each day." So that .1% is 100 screw ups a day, times 365 days a year... 36,500...
KOMO - Seattle, WA : More women vets are homeless, but resources are scarce | National & World News | Seattle News, Weath

Go to the VA, apply for a housing voucher. Go find a place that takes section 8 vouchers. Problem solved. Even if it's been decades since service, a vet can still get housing. I know people doing this. The problem is if you're alcoholic or drug addict, your case worker isn't going to let you keep the voucher. Trying to blame the Navy for alcoholism is just a really cheap attempt at pointing fingers. I know people who've served long periods in the military and never drank any alcohol. There's also plenty of programs to help vets get clean. That said, those programs usually only last a few months, or up to a max of a year. If you can't get clean by then or get kicked out before then, then yeah, you're out on the street.
