He pointed out how hyped up and distorted Che's tactical and military talents were. Fontava admitted most victories were simply pay offs from well placed bribes by the Fidelistas. It is truly sad that Cuban society was so ripe for Fidel to pick. It is almost comical that such a valiant group of exiles and their progeny have yet to take their country back.
