In the parent handbook, they specifically state that all things Harry Potter are banned from the center, as they think Harry Potter will encourage kids to experiment with magic and the occult.
I have always been careful to explain to my daughter that there is a supernatural world out there, some of it is good and some of it is bad, and that we should do as God tells us - to refrain from trying to make things happen with magic.
In any event, she isn't really interested in magic or Harry Potter, at her age.
What do you think about the influence of Harry Potter on children?

I am planning a little trip down to Tombstone and Bisbee, AZ. While investigating activities in this area on Tripadvisor.com, I begun to read some of the comments from people who visited the infamous Birdcage Theater in Tombstone.
It was certainly apparent that tourists are seeking out "ghosts" as entertainment, and they were actually thrilled to have paranormal activity present. (Of course, I suspect that much of the activity was staged by the people who run the Birdcage Theater.)
These folks who seek out this kind of "harmless" entertainment don't realize what kind of fire they're playing with.
