IAMfourzerotwo : Back to blogging and twittering after two weeks

What do you know of working in the games industry? Very little, i'll guess. There are a lot of things to take into consideration, and a lot of tweaking that needs to be done. If you honestly think that a game goes from the start of development to hitting the stores in "within one year", then you're absolutely mental. The playlists will arrive in the form of a patch - a patch that IW actually have to pay Microsoft to put through (well, the first one is free, but all others after that involved paying Microsoft a lot of money). Therefore it is really important that all bugs are ironed out before it goes live. Otherwise they'll end up having to patch the patch. Just be greatful that you're getting this update - it is free, after all.

It seems to be fixed. Reboot your 360 and you shouldn't have any more problems.

That's what I meant - I edited my reply to clarify. Also, last time people had similar connection problems with CoD4 it was Microsoft messing up server-side.

If you keep trying over and over, eventually you'll get in. I have a sneaky suspicion that it has to do with some of the new party code that Microsoft has put in. Try backing out of the party lobby with nobody but you in it, and you'll get "end party: y/n" - which wasn't the case before.

IAMfourzerotwo : Sending My DNA Into Space

I've just noticed something interesting - the 10th prestige medal is The Navy Cross, the second highest accolade given by the Navy. Does this hint at more prestige levels becoming available, capping with the highest accolade given for service?

IAMfourzerotwo : Mixing Things Up - New Playlist Status

As well as the option to remove aim assist in multiplayer, it'd also be pretty amazing to either have an extra custom class slot, or make the presets customizable at level 55. I'm really looking forward to playing the new playlists - CoD4 multiplayer is absolutely fantastic, and shows everybody else how a good multiplayer game should be done. Thanks!

Hey there, would it be possible to add an option to turn off multiplayer aim assist in the next patch?
