Same answer I got from the two of them. My response to them was, is this a statement generated by Harry Reid that he sent to all the Senators or just the ones that were planning to vote "yes" to the bill. That way they would all be on the "same page".

You are making a point here...Would our e-mails, snail mail, etc., make more of an impact if we took a few negatives in a bill and asked our Reps. and Senators to explain WHY they plan to vote for a particular bill given the issues we mention. Force them to give us particulars instead of "stock" answers.

Here's another project for everyone to participate in. Without commenting why or why not : " If Sarah Palin was running for POTUS would you support her, whether it was on an Ind. ticket or Rep. ticket. Just a yes or no will be fine. After every 10 replies, whoever is 11, copy and paste question, and reply with your vote. That way the post won't get to long. Just remember to carry over the totals. total 23 yey 2 nay

Why contd.
Meanwhile she needs to get out and let the people see who and what she is without being saddled with being a governor or being "saddled" with McCain. I would only hope that she does not get sucked in to the republican elite.
Going back to prior comment, I think she has much more in common with Newt than with McCain.
And that is my reasoning.

Why Gingrich/Palin? Sarah Palin with all the positives she stands for, will never be given any credibility until she has "experience". Who would be a better source in which to gain that experience than to work beside someone that has that credibility. Check out his "American Solutions" website. He knows Washington and how it works, is intelligent, a good debator, a historian, open to ideas from others, etc. Someone had mentioned his Contract with America that made Clinton look so good. See his 12 American Solutions for Jobs & Prosperity. What a mentor he would be for our first female President of the US. Think about it.

Hate to bust your bubble WR, but many of the Dems that voted against the bill were given the OK by Pelosi once she was sure she had the votes to pass the bill. Check out and see if those Dems are in a district that generally vote the other way. That will give you the answer you might not like.
