One Bronco Nation Under God (OBNUG) : Will Shamburger has obviously never been to Boondocks

Eh, big loss. He probably would've wound up suspended from the team anyway. Boredom usually leads to people trying to do something illegal (or against team rules). I guess he didn't realize that players come to Boise State to win and it is hard work to do so. Kellen Moore didn't become the starter because of pure talent and awesomeness (well... he could have), but because of his hard work and his willingness to put off boredom to study... the playbook, game film, Akey's defensive play-calling mustache, Mumme's soul. Go party it up... see if it takes you anywhere.

One Bronco Nation Under God (OBNUG) : Game prediction: Boise State 24, TCU 10

So... I was really bored today and watched a re-run of the TCU/Utah game. I noticed that Dalton sucks really bad under pressure... big time. I think that the D-Line will give him fits. Kellen will show the world how cool he is under pressure, and I think the O-Line will do a pretty good job in pass protection. With the absence of Henson, I think that Ian and Avery will be able to open the run a bit. Ian, like everyone else predicted, will get a short yardage TD. Kellen will complete a lot of mid-range passes and two of them will be for TDs. He will be able to spot all of the mismatches and the pre-snap shifting should create quite a few of them. Also, I noticed that Dalton tries to run some QB draws every now and again. His head will probably fall off on one of them (courtesy of Jeron and/or Ellis). Finally, I predict that Gary Patterson will get a self inflicted wedgie from hiking his pants up to his nipples throughout the course of the game. Realistic prediction: Boise State 31 TCU 13 Pizza prediction: Boise State 45 TCU 10

One Bronco Nation Under God (OBNUG) : Comment season: Bowl weekend open thread

Colorado St. is pathetic. It's funny that TCU only beat them 13 - 7. Imagine what Kellen Moore will do to them. It's also interesting that all the TCU homos think their schedule was so tough, but in the end they only played four teams who ended up with a winning record: Oklahoma, BYU, Utah, and Air Force... and how many of those did they win... oh yeah, two! Oh yeah... Turnover Tommy sucks too!

Ohio State could get blown out every year in their bowl game and lose 2 games each season for the next 10 years and still get in to every BCS game... and why to people always have to say THE Ohio State? Does adding emphasis on an article make you that much better??

Honestly! Hawaii had that game in the bag and then had to go and blow it. It would've helped the WAC so much!! Hopefully they don't do the same against Notre Dame.

One Bronco Nation Under God (OBNUG) : Bronco basketball returns, feel free to ignore at will

I have a lot of memories from the late 80s and early 90s basketball games. They had some good players go through there. Who could forget Lance Vaughn, Tanoka Beard, John Coker, Shambric Williams, Sherman Morris, Phil Rodman, Darnell Woods, Damon Archibald, Mike Tolman, and others. Or, for the sake of rivalry week - Idaho's Orlando Lightfoot. The rivalry with Idaho and Montana was definitely much better back than. The Pavilion would get pretty crowded during those games. The NCAA tournaments were also insane. I don't think I have ever witnessed better basketball games than I did with UCLA in 1995 and the entire first round games of 2001 (#15 Hampton defeating #2 Iowa State).

One Bronco Nation Under God (OBNUG) : Ain't no party like a Utah State party, natch

For reals. I live and Provo and go to BYU (definitely not for the football team... but for the #7 undergrad business program in the nation) and I got a ticket for skateboarding on a ROAD that BYU owns. The ticket was $75 and they issued a warrant for my arrest when I was three days late on paying it. They tried to make me pay an additional $125 to post bail, but I luckily got out of that.

The NMSU commentator on ESPN360 just asked the other guy if he thought the NMSU defense was as good as SJSU. Before he said that he said that he believed before the game started that NMSU's defense was almost as good as Boise State's.

BSU 77, NMSU 0! Mark Johnson hyperbole statements - one for every point scored! I think this will be a breakout game for the Bronco run offense. We could get close to 300 yards on the ground and another 300 through the air. I'm hoping Bush Hamdan just takes over after half-time because we are already winning 63-0.

One Bronco Nation Under God (OBNUG) : Game prediction: Boise State 38, San Jose State 6

I agree with the thinking that the Boise State offense will show up tonight. We all know that Kellen Moore won't get rattled and he's probably pretty pumped for the game. Titus Young not playing will dampen the "O" a bit (not in terms of turnovers though), but there are still more than enough threats... did I mention Kellen Moore is playing? SJSU won't be able to move the ball much with their Idahoesque offense and the Bronco "D" will dominate. BSU 31 SJSU 7

One Bronco Nation Under God (OBNUG) : OBNUG cashes in Hawaii rival blog bet

So you're aspiring to write for the Statesman huh? Why don't you just create your own newspaper. You could name it after Kellen Moore. That way you could still throw the hate out on Prater. Lol. Great article! I think the Hawaii fans took it a lot better than the Oregon fans. At least I've seen nothing but compliments from them with their comments. Now... if only we could create a machine that developed our imaginative ideas into reality... then OBNUG could rule the entire world and BCS... muhahaha (rubbing hands together).
