You'll ask if I'm so fired up about it why don't I do anything? My current profession prevents me from taking active political stances, though I'm nearly finished with that commitment (I'm sure you can infer my profession from that info). But I'm wondering, is there enough spinal fortitude left in our people to actually do anything? Mr. Beck, you are a potential leader, and I respect your effort to persuade people. I think, however, that persuasion is no longer going to solve our problems. Don't just talk about purging the cancer in our government anymore. You and a few others like you are already our leaders. Well don't just sit around talking anymore, lead us. We're just waiting for someone with the ability to pick up the flag and stand at the head of the army.

We live in a nation founded by men who KILLED their leaders for taxing them unfairly. Yet we, even though armed with significantly greater physical power, communications ability, and education, have stood by while far worse atrocities have been committed against us. We have done nothing while this scum has butchered 35 million unborn children, dismantled the pride and power of our military, corrupted our children, rewarded criminals, stolen the livelihoods of our elected officials, ridiculed our faith, and transformed our economy of honest entrepeneurship into golden-parachute seeking thievery. We have betrayed our founding fathers and our ancestors.

There is a lot of time being spent here blaming other people. Liberals blame conservatives, and now conservatives are blaming liberals. No one is blaming themselves. Mr. Beck is hinting at the real problem, but due to his position he can't really say what needs to be said. Our elected leaders are not really liberal or conservative, they are all just in fact corrupt power-mongers. They put on a mask that seems to lean towards one of those sides or the other, but the truth is that they are every one altogether evil. They have built an aristocracy here (if you don't believe that then point out the poor politician, or maybe one of the handful of them that didn't inherit a large part of his wealth), and the one thing that has allowed that is our indifference.

I have to agree with the guy who criticized the business student. That spoiled kid exemplifies the real problem with voting Americans. There is some ridiculous sense of entitlement that makes "progressives" think that they deserve the best of everything and the most stuff they can get. They don't seem to understand that they were never promised an equal share of wealth, just an equal opportunity to pursue it themselves.
