I went and told them my phone was screwing up and told them it started when I updated to 3.1 I then told them that I wanted 3.0 back they checked through the serial numbers and found one... Few cause I was mad when my phone screwed up last week and had to update to 3.1
I am one happy guy...Went to the apple store today and got the last phone with firmware 3.0 on it......I am back in business baby......
No I understand...sorry I wrote it confusing...What I meant was its ok if I update it to 3.1 and then go to the apple store and explain my situation??
Plus I guess by the time I need to either sell the phone or go to another carrier in a year or so I am hoping they will have an unlock solution so I can resell it.... right now all I really care about is the jailbreak and I should be able to do that forever since I have my 3.1 shsh on file with cydia.....Am I right here??
so your saying upgrade to 3.1 then make an appointment and have them give me one with 3.0 ecause as of right now they might still be able to see its jailbroken right?
Well This sucks..........Tried to do everything right..... Didn't upgrade to 3.1 logeed my files...then logged my ecid with saurik the second time because i missed the first. Now my phone wont stop resetting no matter what and I know need to update to 3.1 which will prolly never be unlocked..... and even though I use ATT that option would be nice...Funny thing is is the people at the apple store cant figure out why I cant restore back to 3.0 when I never upgraded.........But there phones are 3.1 also lol........but oh boy....I would just wait but it seems like its been a while and My wife is 8 months pregnant so its kind of hard not to have a phone......so hmmmm...jailbreak or water break how does one choose??

I upgraded the carrier setting and it worked just fine. My visual voicemail came back and I had everything else working just fine. I jsut wish that the mms function would work right. Why would I get a picture and voice delivered seperate so I have no i dea whats going on lol...Gotta love my Iphone and its newest technology...lol

I gotta problem here. I have an iphone 3gs on 3.0.0 firmware Jailbroken with ATT. Everything was going fine. I was doing my jailbreak thing checking this site everyday to upgrade to 3.1 until last night. My Iphone died. No big deal I threw it on the charger and waited so I could set my alarm to wake me up for work....Only here comes the problem. It never turned on. After it charged enough the apple logo came on and since then has been in an continuous loop. It acts like it boots the log dissapears and then it pops back up with the turn wheel then goes away and reboots again. I do not know what to do I do not want to restore because then I loose jailbreak and unlock. Unlock is not such a big deal right now but it could be down the road any suggestions?
Guys I was in DFU mode and got both my Ibec and Ibss files. They are both 103k. the folder that popped up was per1340.tmp....Does this sound right??? Thank you. I appreciate it.
