authorities were called 1 hour after the time she said she would be back. thats what I've seen over and over in the report. she said she would be back a 8 and at 9 authorities were notified.

Any competent driver has their mirrors in their peripheral vision so if something does happen then the driver can respond. Sounds like carelessness to me. Driving without know what is in your mirrors at all times is reckless. I hope the DA does their job of coming down on this guy. There should be no excuse, peoples lives are at stake.

chances are, the red light runners are students trying to get to class. no excuse. I witnessed one of eugenes finest on a motorcycle doing a u-ee to go after these violators. (cool to see, finally)
This intersection is a prime candidate for a red light camera. Perhaps the Delta interchange can be funded in part by this.
