Small Business Marketing & Business Acceleration | FrontlineMarketingSystems.com : 7 Steps to Increase Facebook Fans

Hey Mark, it's been a while since I've looked at FB Insights, but a couple reasons would be to know how long people were staying on the page, where they went afterwards, and what keywords led them to your page. Again, I haven't looked to see if Insights shows this information now in addition to the demographic data - so if it does, then there might not be a good reason other than having all your traffic stats in one place!

Doberman Dan : The Power Of Social Proof

Hey Dan, I'd love to read that book! Lots of people talk about GH, but you're the only guy I know how LIVED with him for a while...talk about learning through association! Let the publishers know you're the guy, and properly marketed to the DM/IM crowd, it'll sell like crazy.

Doberman Dan : Stupid Ad - Smart Ad

Great post Dan - always good to see some real-world stuff that's good and working. Aside from the ad, USPLabs does make some good stuff - I really like their "Prime" product (pictured in the ad)...noticeable difference when I'm taking it and when I'm not. So you know the owner?

Doberman Dan : A Secret Search Engine That Rivals Google

No problem. And sorry for not making it more clear, but you CAN directly link to another non-FB site. If you want people to come back to the blog here, no problem - copy the URL and paste it into the destination URL box and you're all set!

Doberman Dan : A Secret Search Engine That Rivals Google

Hey Dan, you can direct folks to non-FB pages with their PPC...just did a training video on it for our membership site members. Cool thing is they're allowing a lot more control on the fan pages, and with the right code you can incorporate lead capture features/optin forms to get their name and email right there...then always have the thankyou page be another site you want to direct them too... If the person clicks 'like' on the fan page (which you should encourage), then you can actually market directly to their friends using the ad settings and then they see the 'social proof' aspect of their friend liking the page - thus drawing them in that much easier. Either way, you can just put in a third party site to direct to if you want...totally up to you. Just so you're up to speed :)

Doberman Dan : Issue 11 - How To Start A "Kitchen Table" Direct Response Business

Awesome post - love hearing how it all came together. I'm in the middle of sending out some "dollar" letters to local businesses for consulting/online-marketing work, then using the proceeds to dive into offline direct-marketing to give that a shot as well, and looking forward to it. Thanks for the great content :) Steve
