Macerich company (Flatiron Crossing & 29th street) has gotten very greedy. Upper management lives in a shell and does not know we were in a recession. They wanted double digit increases in rent plus a built in raise every year after years 2-10. How can a company survive under that kind of agreement? If you notice all the new stores coming in are of a lesser name and the bigger names decided not to renew. What do we know that the newbees dont? We know when the rent isnt fair.
