The third party has always been a good idea, but the big dollar campaign contributions from the big corporations, you know the ones we bailed out, only give to the Republicans and Democrats. The contributions that citizens give are so small in comparison that corporately unsponsored politicians are destined to fall into obscurity.

The frustration we are experiencing with 9.12 is that we have seen excellent posts and ideas. I would like to see a voting section added to start to compile a list of priorities. These could then be used in a slogan campaign to get our legislators in to sound bite mode. The Tea Party movement is still undiscovered by the masses and it is amazing to me how long it takes for people to notice things like this. With a list of 9.12 principles in hand we or our representative can confront our elected officials and expose their real agendas.

Many times the Government contracts are so specific that they can only be filled by one company that actually meets all the criteria the the government program or service requires. The government was extremely vague a few years ago with these contracts and the companies that won them couldn't provide the security clearances, logistics support or engineering support, so the government lost valuable time and money having to re-bit these services.

I commend you on your service to this country. Mr. Beck, while not in uniform, is also "In Service" to this country and faces many of the same risks as you did. Threats to himself and his family are real and they come from Americans inside this great nation. He wont get the 21 gun solute from the military he deserves, when his time comes, but he should.

Stop the spending of money on programs that haven't been established. The setting aside billions and billions of money for programs that haven't even been established, voted on or even discussed yet doesn't make any sense...especially during these hard economic times.

Divide the federal budget into categories instead of separate bookkeeping. We need to know how much is being spent in each category instead of only seeing one set of books at a time. We can better "Balance" the tax money if we can see it concisely and use congress to fill voids or reduce spending in areas that aren't working effectively.

Demand that congress uphold the "Rule of Law" as part of the Oath of office that they are sworn to protect. This oath is a legal contract that can be used by members of the Judicial branch to ensure that any American is protected from demonetization or threats from members of congress.

Change the function of the IRS to monitor Government spending of the "Peoples" taxes. We could certainly reduce waste by verifying the spending of our tax money instead of the IRS just ensuring a huge pool of money is made available to congress for them to spend on any earmark or special interest kickback that they need to spend it on.

Establish a Tax Policy that eliminates bias of one group over another. The constitution demands we treat each other equally and that should be part of the Tax code. All Americans have an equal stake in the functions of the Government. Remember Taxes are to pay for government operation not government programs.

I would like the Judicial branch to place a Constitutional test on each law before it is enacted. This would ensure that individual people or business weren't being targeted by punitive actions by congress, such as taxes or restrictions that favor those businesses that contribute to re-election campaigns. Congress should not favor one business or person over another.
