I'd like to present a counterargument to using the Twitter feature. Twitter is quickly becoming my primary method of keeping up-to-date, and I follow a lot of people. I welcome blog-post tweets, but personally, I find ID spam to be incredibly annoying, on the same level as the #spymaster spam. I'm not really a comment junkie. Mostly I follow a lot of blogs and I rarely dive into the comments, unless there's something that I want to add, or I think that differing POV will be valuable.

That said, it's not my Twitter account and I could unfollow you if I wanted. I can also see the value that it would have to people who are dedicated to a few blogs, and who enjoy the ensuing conversation more than the post. Also, I think that the value of following you outweighs the annoyance (especially as it seems to be infrequent most days), but there have been days that I just skip past all your stuff on Twitter because of ID spam.

You can do with this what you like, obviously, but since the topic came up, I wanted to offer my argument.
