Degrees sounds great, but how about providing scholarships to Americans only and not foreigners? It's bad to see the engineering jobs going overseas and taking over here too, but to give these folks free money to learn is a disgrace to the Americans. Americans=born and raised in the USA.

Having came from NYC with a huge diversity of people, I've always noticed
1) Asians (doesn't matter if non-speaking English or speaking English) usually gets robbed by everybody, even their own kind.
2) Hispanics usually gets robbed by Hispanics and Blacks.
3) Caucasians usually gets robbed by Causians and Blacks.
4) Blacks usually gets robbed by Blacks.
Of course this is not all true all the time, but majority of the time is it. And where it bucks the motto above is when their own kind joins up with another individual of another kind (eg Black and Asian robs another Black).

And .25 cents is suppose to make me feel better?!?!. Sorry, every penny, nickel, coin counts in my pocket. Like someone said, "if you're shortchanged while crossing the 520 toll, would they still let you past?"

If you worry about the nickel, think about where someplace other places (eg California) have raised theirs to 50 cents now.

Big mistake. They say 5-cents now...ask yourself after a year. Just like the Intiative 1183 - privatization of liquor. Look at the cost of booze (not that I drink). <Shakinghead> People just don't learn.

Kudos to this kid! Having come from NY, I would've done the same thing too. I don't see why other articles said we need to let stranger(s) know that somebody is home by answering their response.
