The situation is he has brain damage from playing football for so many years and one of the major issues that causes is depression. Several former players have now shot themselves in the chest instead of the head so their brains can be examined for damage after they are dead. The survey was about 2009 cars, and it's somewhat reasonable to assume that the survey was conducted in the last month and a half, for the previous 12 months, then if the 2009 cars were bought at the very end of 2009, the survey would included cars that had been in use for 12-24 months. That's at a minimum. If they bought the cars in late 2008, early 2009 then it would be in the 24-36 month range.

In downtown Portland, on Broadway, in front of PSU, the bike line is against the curb and the parking is closest to traffic. I think it works out nicely and is much, much safer overall for the bike riders.

Amen! I'm fine with people riding their bikes, I just wish they didn't have to do so with cars. It's been proven time and again, sharing doesn't work. The bikes lose every time. Put them on their own 'streets'.

I wouldn't go as far as saying they have no right. There could be other reasons short of her having had sex with a student for them to revoke her teaching credentials. Other inappropriate conduct which doesn't rise to the level of a criminal act. It was the state that revoked the certificate, not the school board.

Happens every time a Tri-met bus drives down 4th Ave downtown. They stop on the right prior to Hall then turn left one short block later onto Harrison. They have to cross 3 lanes of one-way traffic to do it.
