Mantus it's refreshing to see an unbeliever like yourself acknowledging the historical Jesus of Nazareth, His crucifixion and His empty tomb. I do fail to see the logic in your reasoning for accepting Islamic accounts regarding His death on the cross. As you know Islam & Sufism came into existence roughly 600 yrs after Christ's death burial and resurrection. Can you explain your rational for accepting Islamic accounts of the life, death and resurrection of Christ opposed to contemporary eye witnesses accounts like Matthew or John?

According to Mr Dawkins in his book "the God delusion" these so called intellectual baboons are misleading and deceiving millions of poor deluded children. Surely Mr Dawkins publicly trouncing the creationist and intelligent design "baboons" would help eradicate a delusion "meme" and help free a multitude of innocent little children from being deceived. As for the idea that a debate would lend credibility to the creation I.D. "baboons" or the Harry Potter Boy Wizard argument etc The late Christopher Hitchens, Sam Harris, Daniel Dennet, Anthony Flew etc would disagree.

Is it not strange that Dr Dawkins won't enter into a public debate with any of these alleged intellectual baboons? I'm sure a man of such vast knowledge and superior intellect could easily see off an intellectual baboon in a public debate.

OX, it might be the case that folks aren't stepping up to help families in need that is a problem but advocating the killing of the unborn child because people won't help makes absolutely NO SENSE whatsoever. It's akin to crushing your car because the tires need changed. Regarding my experience with families with disabilities it's irrelevant to the question to abortion. The who takes care of who and how many divorces happen etc is all irrelevant smoke screen sophistry with the aim to murder little innocent babies. Lastly I was surprised you didn't comment on the post-birth murder of the disabled is that something you also advocate for?

I wouldn't answer your question until I understood your position. Now your position clear. You support the murder of an innocent child by the mother including accessories after the fact. If we applied this logic to your question of who supports the child/ Mother at birth etc We could birth the child. See how the mother/family/support structures holds up. If the mother/social structures can't handle it put the child to death then. That’s consistent with your position. Or we could abandon the idea of murdering little babies altogether. Have the birth, contact "contact a family.org" for support, contact other local/international Christian charities for support, contact churches for support. We could care for the least of these and work through this terrible suffering in the love of Christ together. Now I'm sure you have a boat load of logistical issues and sociological “what if‘s” for why we should just go a head and murder the innocent baby but facts our people have been looking after the disabled for 1000's of yrs and getting it done regardless of your moral hypothetical’s and “mercy killings”.

OX let me follow your reasoning here. So there is supposed evidence from supposed experts that an innocent unborn child could be born with abnormalities. This could put a burden on it's loving family, the innocent child and you/society as a whole . Your final solution is to supposed problem is to put the innocent child to death? Thus irradiating any potential burden this innocent child becomes to it's a loving family and you as a member of society? Is that your proposition in a nutshell?

Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them”— 2 before the sun and the light and the moon and the stars grow dark, and the clouds return after the rain; 3 when the keepers of the house tremble, and the strong men stoop, when the grinders cease because they are few, and those looking through the windows grow dim; 4 when the doors to the street are closed and the sound of grinding fades; when people rise up at the sound of birds, but all their songs grow faint; 5 when people are afraid of heights and of dangers in the streets; when the almond tree blossoms and the grasshopper drags itself along and desire no longer is stirred. Then people go to their eternal home and mourners go about the streets. 6 Remember Him—before the silver cord is severed, and the golden bowl is broken; before the pitcher is shattered at the spring, and the wheel broken at the well, 7 and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.

I would like to pass on my love and sympathy to the Ward family who's innocent child was slaughtered like an animal by animal(s). Time nor the death of the murderer(s) has not healed their lose, they have born the cross for 45 years. But the light still shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome Him. His innocent child also carried the cross and was politically murdered but the facts didn't end there. On the 3rd day He rose up from the dead. His tomb remains empty. We faithfully wait for His coming, knowing He will bring justice to all, He will make everything new, He will raise all His children from the dead and unto life eternal life . On that day we'll all rejoice in the man Peter Ward through Jesus the Christ the Son of God. Sincerely - ian mcguiggan - www.allaboutchrist.net
