Tried that 3 times smarty with no joy.

Tried the way it states above and by entering DFU mode through PWNAGE but still keep getting the same error.

Any other suggestions???

Hi Guys

Looking to update to 3.1.2 from 3.1 on my unlocked and JB'd 3G iphone.

Ive downloaded the IPSW & PWNAGE Tool 3.1.4 from iClarified and built the custom restore as normal. However, when I go to update the IPSW to itunes (9.1) i get an error telling me that iTunes cannot read the IPSW.

Any idea?

get hold of the 3.0 .ipsw and when you click restore in iTunes hold down the down alt key (mac) and then selct the 3.0 .ipsw you have downloaded and itunes will restore your iphone to 3.0.
