I appreciate the openess about the tactics used - though, I wonder if some of them will pass the test of being pubicly accepted. At the end of the day, I believe that internet will be mainstream.

Consequently, business ethics and standards will not be much different than the real world

Cool - if I had known that, I would have purchased some books last year. At that time, I did not want to do this, because, back home, the cave is already filled with undergrade and college books ...

My impression is that they are improving on that. More generally, I have a feeling that website designers have recently being making substantial efforts to build user-friendly website (fewer, more relevant functionalities).

But I don't see yet my grandparents buying on the web ;-)

What I really liked about that campaign is that they managed to engage a large crowd. Always a nice thing to achieve in an overcrowded world of information ;-)

For grown-up, I agree with Ignacio - for youngsters - teenagers I have a question mark.

When I was in high school, Switzerland significantly lowered taxes on liquor. Guess what my friends and I were on for some good nights and more teenagers are making those experiences now than in the past.

I guess two points: 1) if you want to reduce alcohol consumption with teenagers - make it expensive, 2) a ban on advertising is a limited answer.

I find this innovation really helpful. It has already been argued that mobile phone reach to areas where no landline infrastructure existed has brought incredible added value to emerging economies.

If you can save a 2 day walk trip to the nearest city to make payments, that is again very significant.

On one hand the incumbent are at risk, on the other hand this kind of innovation has the potential to grow the overall market by facilitating banking transactions.
