What kind of bridge would you build?

CR Gazette July 19, 2010 said "Final cost estimates on the Highway 100 bridge have not been released, but they will likely dwarf the $1.29 million cost of the Edgewood Road Bridge." That bridge was finished in 1970.

Me thinks that this thing was there for nigh onto 80 years and it was not the lake but the 10 inches of rain in 12 hours that caused the problem. Seems Cedar Rapids got nailed 2 years ago even without a dam* dam.

Last time I checked he is equally white as black. You are the only one who intermittently raises the issue of his genetic heritage. What does that serve you?

This is not about whether or not his father was from Africa! It is about the vision of our president vs. the vision of our founding principals of his great nation. It is about liberty and not about equal outcomes. It is about equal opportunity for all citizens as assured by our constitution.

The requirement to use the IRS to enforce health insurance coverage on all will prove to be an interesting argument at the supreme court some day. I suspect it is a huge stretch to make this constitutional. I think that indeed a storm of legal maneuvers has just begun to be unleashed and is likely to confound any action taken by our congress and as usual the lawyers will win in the end with our wealth being redistributed to their pockets.

BTW do I have a right to dental care? How about legal services? But even more fundamental do have a right to shelter, clothing and food?

Any why shouldn't one exercise his or her constitutional rights occasionally to assure that they are never taken from them? Could it be a case of use it or lose it?

Been there done the class. Examples were given demonstrating the difficulty of combat shooting. That in an effort to dissuade those less than fully committed to maintain marksmanship from carrying a concealed firearm. His stated fears are exaggerated.
