fanciano.com : Has Twitter become the new Facebook and Facebook the new MySpace?

Hmm I think that may be my problem. I should have kept the blog separate from Facebook, and only used Twitter to market the blog. Instead I used both venues to market the blog. Thanks for the insight Brian.

fanciano.com : MCMWTC (Bridgeport, CA)

Hey Bro! Wow! This is kinda of odd, I would never had expected another marine to actually read my blog. LOL. What unit are you with if you don’t mind me asking? I’m an 0311 as well and all I can say is that Bridgeport is cold. The time frame your going on may actually be warmer but I’m really not sure. When we went it was freezing balls. As far as cold weather gear goes, the issued stuff they give you before you go actually works. While we were there all we wore during humps was PT shorts, Goretex Top/Bottom, and nothing else underneath. When we stopped, you would throw on a black fleece (300wt) that they issue you before you go there, and that gets you warm really quick. The hardest part I think is getting used to the altitude, drinking water (its so cold that your mind doesn’t think you need it till you go tits up), and walking on snow (if there is any when you go). The only thing I suggest you by is non cotton socks (something that doesn’t soak up water or your feet will be freezing), goretex lined boots (or spray your boots with waterproofing stuff constantly), and COLD WEATHER GLOVES (very important, they issue you a pair but they’re like mittens and depending on what rifle you’re using, they suck balls.) Other than that you should be fine, the less gear you bring out the less you have to bring back. You say you’re in good shape so you should be fine. The instructors there do a good job pacing the humps to get everyone acclimated to the altitude so it should be easy for you. Just stand by for the massive amounts of gayness, I’m with 2/5 and when we did a battalion fx they made us do a 6 click movement to a location only to give a frago and move us back to where we came from as soon as we got there. But yea, if you have any other questions please let me know.

fanciano.com : My simple thoughts on Microsoft's Bing vs. Google

True. But you also have to compare how they branded themselves.
Netscape didn't brand themselves as well as Google is doing now.

Google has gotten to the point where our culture has turned that name
into a verb. Netscape has never come close.

How many times has Microsoft changed the name of the search engine?

I think they can only come close but not ever be as big as Google.

LOL! I guess it didn't work! I was able to get it to post via Matt Jacob's Ping.FM Custom URL plugin, but for some odd reason it cuts off the post half way. HMM I think It might have to do with Evermore (excerpt plugin). I'm gonna try something...
