Vision to America : President Obama: Koran Apology 'Calmed Things Down'

Obama's apology did NOT calm things down! His apology gave fuel to those rioting. They are now claiming that the most powerful man in the world has, through his apology, given credence to their claims that members of the US army deliberately disrespected their holy book. After all, the President of the US would not apologize for the actions of his military if he did not believe they were at fault. I hope is just one more example of his inexperience and lack of leadership ability and not something much worse!

Big Hollywood : The Truth HBO's 'Game Change' Hides: Palin Carried McCain Until He Changed the Game

The article is 100% correct. I volunteered for my local McCain headquarters and before McCain announced Palin would by his running mate, we had to take phamplets home and copy them on our own dime so we would have something to hand out when the occasional person walked through the door. We had no house signs, no phamplets and only two phones for making calls! We truly feared that McCain was going to lose all but Arizona...and you can be guaranteed that the Obama campaign was counting on that massive win to give him a mandate to get started on his fundamental transformation of America! But the day he introduced Palin to the country, people fell in love and they brought in checks and stayed to help. We eventually had to turn volunteers away. The day McCain returned to DC, things fell apart and we knew he would lose. We were all convinced that if Palin had been on the top of that ticket, the GOP would have won by the same landslide they did in 2010. It is disgraceful what the GOP has done to this wonderful woman!

Ron Paul is never going to be president. And he has already told his rabid supporters that HE knows that, so why don't YOU know that? He is only trying to get as many delegates he can, so that in the case of a brokered convention he will have some power over the eventual nominee. I suspect he will try to trade his delegates on the basis that his son, Rand Paul is put in the VP position...or perhaps he is looking for a place on the nominees cabinet. He has already told you that he will NOT be president, he is just staying in to satisfy his massive ego and gain some influence in DC.

Ron Paul is NOT TEA party! He had nothing at all to do with it coming into being nor did he support the movement, nor was he ever invited to show up at any of our meetups! He sat in his little DC bubble and ignored us when we marched on DC. TEA party began with Rick Santelli and was furthered by Basso on youtube. And Sarah Palin has been very adament that she DISAGREES with Ron Paul's foreign policiy nonsense. She always says something nice about all the candidates, but she has not and never will endorse or vote for Ron Paul!!!!

Vision to America : Obama: All Americans Will Be Forced to Buy Coverage for Sterilization, Contraception, Abortifacients

This is just one more step towards government provided and paid for abortions. First, the cost of all the Obamacare mandates is going to force massive numbers of employees to pay the fine, rather than provide insurance. Now this will force all Catholic insitutions to drop their health insurance and pay the fine. All of these people are going to be forced to turn to the government run health insurance pools which are going to be more expensive for those who pay, but those who make up to $80K will be eligible for subsidies. In turn, this will force the majority of the nations health care costs onto those who make MORE than $80k per family (not per individual). This is going to lower the number of couples who marry and remain on "government paid" insurance. Foks, there was a VERY good reason this was forced down our throats and the reason is REDISTRIBUTION of wealth. This man CANNOT be given another term!

Vision to America : Do Conservatives Really Want the GOP Nominee to Lead?

Absolutely Fox leans towards Romney! Even Cavuto, whom I have always respected, has trashed Gingrich. I have quit watching Fox because of this. If they want to get behind Romney, I have no problem with that...but do it honestly and in the open.

And Romney will say anything to anyone in order to get elected. He told us this himself. He is the one who claimed he HAD to run on a more liberal platform in order to be elected in MA. Now he is doing the things he sees as necessary (including raising money for conservative candidates) in order to get the GOP nomination this time. His record shows that he was a very bad governor in MA and we have no clue what his real role was in Bain or even in the turn around of the Olympics. We know he is good at raising money and we know he will say whatever the voter wants to hear...that's about all we know for sure.

No, the TEA party does NOT want Ron Paul! He has had nothing at all to do with the TEA party movement! He has not supported us, has not given speeches or offered endorsements to our candidates. He did NOT start the TEA party, it was started when Rick Santelli went on a rampage on the floor of the stock market and then followed up by Bob Basso who called for tea bags to be sent to the White House. Ron Paul was not, is not and will never be part of TEA party!

Check with your state laws before you even bother going to the polls in the general to write his name in. Most states do not even look at write in votes, they are just discarded. In VA, unless the candidate has declared himself a write in candidate at least 10 days before the general election, any write in vote will just end up in the trash. And if Ron Paul declares as a write in candidate, he will be handing the election to Obama. Would you really write in RP's name, knowing his ego was so large that he chose to run as a third party write and hand the election to the worst president we have ever had?

Because Ron Paul has very dangerous foreign policy ideas. We are no longer living in the time when appeasement and isolationism can work. Our enemies want nothing more than a weak America led by a weak American president. We have seen the world lit on fire under Obama and even his foreign policies are not as weak as Ron Paul's. RP supporters do not seem to realize that our enemies have no desire to lay down their arms, they eagerly look forward to the day when America gives up and no longer leads the world. And do not even mention the "fact" that they do not have the armies to attack us...they already live within our borders and are simply waiting for the day they are given their orders to start their terrorism once again. How many suicide bombers in schools, malls, workplaces will it take before we are frozen in place and ripe for picking? Yes, it CAN happen here...our enemies are only waiting for the right opening.

No one cares what you do or who you vote for in the primary, but check you state laws before you write someone in during the general. Most states simply put write in votes directly into the trash. In VA, before a write in vote can be counted, the candidate must announce their intention to run a write in candidacy 10 days before the general election, otherwise all write in votes are simply discarded as they are received. They are never counted, they are never even looked at. So every write in vote for Ron Paul, during the general, will be the equivalent of handing Obama an uncontested vote. Ron Paul is not going to be the GOP nominee, and he could not beat Obama if he were by some miracle to achieve getting the nomination. His reputation among the general public, well earned by his performances during the debates, is one of being a nut...whether this is true or not is debatable, but regardless his reputation on foreign affairs is not going to be repaired any time soon.

Do what ever you need to do during your states primary, but if Ron Paul is not the GOP nominee, and he won't be, vote for the GOP nominee in the general. Anything less gives us another Obama term. And yes, all of the GOP nominees, even Mitt Romney will be better than Obama if for no other reason than they will have re-election hanging over their heads in their first term. Ron Paul is not going to be president. Throw your vote away by writing him in during the general if you must, but keep in mind that most states discard write in votes unless the candidate has registered as a write in candidate. Check with you own state, but most write in votes truly will not even be looked at, much less counted.

Evidently you are TOO UNINFORMED...there was NOT computer voting in NA...this was a CAUCUS. People had to show up, listen to speeches and cast their vote on a piece of paper. The fraud was committed when, as they did in Iowa, inaccurate vote counts were sent from the caucus precincts to the GOP headquarters OR they were reported incorrectly after being totalled with other caucus counts once they had been received at GOP headquarters. Or both! Of course reality is that everyone understood that Nevada was going to go to Romney. He is a Mormon and just as 95% of blacks voted for Obama, 95% of Mormons voted for Romney. Since voter turnout was low among every group except the Mormon voter and approximately 50% of caucus voters self reported as Mormon, then it stands to reason that Romney would receive almost 50% of the vote. Knowing that Nevada was going to go to Romney, the other candidates spent very little time or money in the state. Common sense may have told everyone how the Nevada caucus was going to turn out, but Newsmax should have kept their opinion to themselves until after the caucus sites were closed!

She could have read it ten times over and still not understood what it said! I tried and tried to read it and found it was really just an outline which produced a large number of new government offices which were going to be allowed to write their own rules and regulations controlling our health care. What she should have done was recognize that Obama and his Czars could not be trusted...and voted down everything he supported!

Vision to America : Court Tells Hawaii Officials to Explain Obama's Birth Records

You will not hear about this on Fox. They did no more to vet Obama than any other network did. If they admit to the public that they did not look into Obama's background when questions were raised about him, they will have to say why they didn't do it. And Fox will never admit that no one was going to do any serious research into Obama once he announced his intentions to run for president because they would have immediately been attacked for being racist. While racism plays only a minor part in most American's lives, either black or white, the accusation of racism still has a strong negative effect.

ZIONICA.com : Can the US Army embrace atheists?

Your argument as to workplace holidays is foolish. The greatest majority of Christians do not actively participate in their religion...should they give up their holidays? Would you also insist those who celebrate Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Ramadan, Nirvana Day or the many other religious groups with their own holidays, forego workplace Christian holidays? Who would police the workplace for holiday offenders? I am an Atheist, but I put up a tree every year, as does a Jewish friend of mine. There's nothing wrong with enjoying the trappings of a holiday without actually agreeing with the premise of that holiday.

Have you ever been among a group of Atheists as they discuss their beliefs? And yes, Atheists do have beliefs. I have, and the discussions are as robust in defense of Atheism, if not more so, than any Christian I have ever heard defend their own beliefs. Atheism IS a religious preference. Simply because Atheism is a rejection of a deity, does not mean that there are not rules and regulations that must be adhered to or you are declared unfit to hold the title of Atheist. I am a conservative Atheist...I believe there is no deity, but I also believe that our government has no right to interfere in anyone's religious choice. I am frequently told I could not possibly be a "real" atheist and hold conservative beliefs. There are militant Atheist (those who fight and argue and are actually offended by any sign of religion in others) and there are passive Atheists (those who simply chose to believe what they believe and have no problem just walking by a creche without getting angry).
