He was pronounced dead 12 minutes later. I don't see how it went wrong. But there's always rope, bullet, gas, be-heading, etc. . . there are alternatives if they can't use this drug again.

In the Bible, if someone says they are a prophet and give you a word they say is from God and get it wrong, they would be stoned. The Bible also warned about the punishment coming to those who lead people astray.
These 'pastors' tell loving, yet very mentally washed out parents that "faith" is the only way, and distort what 'faith' is. They give people a false understanding and false assurance. This law protects people from false pastors/prophets who would otherwise pray on those who can be manipulated.
This doesn't stop God from acting, it just stops neglect.

This law doesn't prevent God from healing w/o medicine (nothing could stop what God wants anyway), but what it does do is prevent neglect. If you take your child to a doctor, it isn't a question of your faith. God made medicine and doctors. And if a doctor gets it wrong, it's the doctor's head on the chopping block, not yours, as you will have done all you can to take care of what God has entrusted you with.

Thank you to Kitzhaber and all others who made this possible and stop the child abuse. God can heal w/o medicine, but God heals through medicine as well. God created doctors and science, and we would do well to use all the blessings of God. Thank you again Kitzhaber. Friends of Christ Church can pray for their kids, but had best find a family doctor, and quick.

Well, it's less expensive than a plane ride, but I don't expect Boehner to be so easily convinced. Boehner cares about this country. Obama only cares about the contry he is trying to create, which is not American.

This is not new news, Methodist (as well as other denominations) pastors were seeing the fight to give in to what was politically correct, vs what was biblically correct, and that the fight was from within as well as from without as far back as when I was in high school and I'm sure since before then.
If these sin encouraging pastors want to discredit and ignore the Word of God, then let then quit thier job because they're not good shepherds anyway, forsake Christianity, and start a new religion of their own.

Luther "rebelled" against the Catholic Church because of unbiblical practices and teachings being performed by the Catholic Church at the time. Luther didn't discard Scripture to do what he wanted, he challenged the leaders to hold to teach Scriptipure, and only hold his actions against him if they were not in line with Scripture . . a little history lesson for you.
Now for a quick theology lesson: you will find verses in the Bible that show that God loves everyone and that is true. He does love all and asks us to love all. But you have to keep all verses in this little literary term called context, which is something most people like to ignore when it comes to the Bible. God loves sinners, but hates sin, and both the Old Testament and the New Testament call the homosexual lifestyle sin. There is both a punishment from sin, and a way to be free from it. The Judge not lest ye be judged is a nice verse people like to take out of context when they don't want to be held accountable, which was not the context or intended meaning of that verse.

NO, we don't need this. I don't care what "cause" they "say" this is for. The only cause this supports is immaturity. And your tax dollars are being used for this. The article says there will be extra cops on patrol and TriMet busses will be re-routed. I wonder if the ask the cops to ride horses or bikes, or if they bike in protest to cops using cars.
