F;low the trash! Remember, once out of office Macon won't be able to afford trash removal and he will resort to putting his trash in his neighbor's dumpsters!

A metaphor that fits Macon's career as a city councilman. Maybe Matt can join you?

Sounds like he covered all of his bases. Does not sound good.

The Buff team is getting pretty crowed at guard the guard and small forward positions. It will be a challenge for coach Boyles to keep all happy with playing time as some will have to sacrifice for the good of the team. Otherwise, dissension and defections can really disrupt this team. No strong leader seems to have emerged at least publicly, who will help drive the 1st & last players on the bench towards unity. The Buffs are not a "One & Done" team so players can feel like they have fewer options if not starting or getting what they think is their fair share of playing time. Derrick looks like a great addition to the team who can push players in practice. In the end, players will need to understand their roles in competing for time and embrace team.

If you do some research you will find that the original plans for Gross reservoir called for dam height expansion as part of it's original licensing. Denver Water owns the water they are proposing to move to the expanded Gross project spending millions of dollars in well thought out and sound mitigation. Continued water conservation by municipal use only pays the way for further development. Where do we shut the door saying no more development? Our conservation measures actually encourages more development. Got any ideas? BTW, close to 70% of the water consumed is by agriculture. Working with water right owners to better utilize their resource is a much better solution than hand waving about a dam.

We are saving and conserving water. Have you ever wondered where that savings goes? Due to appropriations, it is leased down stream and never returned to the original basin of origin. Want to make a difference for the Colorado? Tell your city councils in Boulder, Longmont, Loveland and other municipalities to force the Northern Water Conservation District to allow conserved water be left in the Colorado for leases use uses in the originating basin. Not a perfect solution but it is a start.

Just a fancy dressed redneck. Both out to show off and be recognized.

Booker's true colors shine through. Rather than offering to sit the bench and practice hard with his teammates, he takes the selfish root deciding to prepared himself for his pro career. What a great team leader he has proven to be.

Don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way our Ski.

Askia Booker got hit with a technical less than five minutes into his last game at Coors Events Center, and immediately went to the bench. Well worth it, Booker said. "I was just in a zone," Booker said. "At that point in time, there was no controlling my emotions."

Are you kidding me! With that kind of attitude, why was Booker playing at all after the technical? He admits in his interview his emotions and expression on the court was more important than the team. Arizona St. got free throws and another possession because of his antics. How about his missed dunk after the missed free throw when a layup was all but guaranteed? Ski is the worst of the show boaters but Johnson & Hopkins are not far behind.

TEAM starts with self discipline and commitment. Too many of the CU players lack both.

It showed itself again last night, this team is fundamentally weak. Even Boyles admitted it in a backhanded way saying his players should know how to pass the ball. Last night's game had 16 turnovers to only 6 assisted buckets. If you add the assist to turnover ratio for Fletcher, Thomas, Talton, Johnson & Hokins last night they were 0 for 8! These four highly touted upperclassmen went 5-20 from the filed and 1-9 from the free throw line. None of them pass well. Part of getting an open shot is the crisp pass to a receiving player poised to shoot. I'd like to know how many times CU has turned the ball over on in bounds plays this year. They don't get open, they get 5 second calls ( or call timeout) and many time through poorly over the top resulting in a layup for the other team.

This team has enough troubles with it's core of Booker, Gordon & Scott without having these players consistently under perform every night. I'd say go down the bench and bring up someone willing to work hard and improve. Unfortunately, there is no one there. Gulp.
