Buffs wary of Oregon........really? Kind of a mr obvious headline. News flash. It was nichols state we
embarrassed yesterday. I guess the only alternative was...."Buffs arent even going to practice this week they are so confident"
Oregon didnt disappear as a premier team overnight. Certainly Utah would have won that game without the trick plays. More than anything Utah has established themselves as a premier team. Its going to take a massive error free effort with some luck and no nitwitrefs to beat both of them.
Maybe next year alabama will fire Saban and give Whittingham 8 million dollars a year.

not sure I understand throwing a ball too early. You can force it at any time during the time
allotted but the idea, if you have a read on an open receiver, is to get the ball away as quickly as possible.
QBs with a quick release are at a premium. this gives the D less time to react both before the catch and afterwards when the receiver is trying for YAC. It also gives the D less time to sack your QB.
I dont want as many pics as Sefo threw last year but I would certainly trade a few for the passing numbers last year.
I know we are trying to establish a running game but lets not get things out of balance in that respect. A QB has to get into a rhythm throwing the ball.

Utah didnt really beat Oregon. they had to use "trick" plays. Those insolent Utah coaches have no shame.or sportsmanship. The NCAA should make them line up and beat everyone else in a proper shoving contest.
(enough sarcasm)
The Utah punt return was brilliant. I'm sure that has been tried somewhere before but its the first time I have seen it. It was timed perfectly as well....when the other team is getting desperate and trying too hard.
The problem is Utah killed it for us. Following that act what can we do now to surprise Oregon? Bout the only thing I can think of is actually use a tight end as a receiver
