Things in this school are messed up! The Soards are not the leaders everyone believes them to be. Beautiful people like the Dalai Lama do not have dissent and alleged behavior like this, yet David Soard and Sharon Soard want their little cult to believe they are the same level as some one truly special. it is clear crimes were committed, (guilty plea of harassment with contact) and many other inappropriate actions and events. The prosecutor said it was difficult to prove (because people are scared to come forward and speak against the Soards because witness intimidation is occurring) but if this trial was a complete waste of his time he would never have filed the charges and gone to court to begin with. Now the record is set and the case will never go away, the psycho -sexual exam shows that David Soard does not know the difference between "good tough and bad touch." Or maybe that no means no. He still believes it was all consensual contact even though the victims say it was not and the investigators say it wasn't and witnesses say it wasn't. Another victim and another event is sure to happen either with in the Chinese Shaolin Center or outside of it. Meanwhile two factions are clearly divided. Everyone supporting the Soards is acting out of blind faith and anger towards the victims (the sickest form of denial I can imagine.) Sharon Soard is at the top of this calling all the victims sluts, I have even heard one follower say women who put themselves in a situation where they could be assaulted deserved it. Apparently the victims should all know better. The other side are all standing up for ethics and supporting the victims rights. They are having to fight or their reputations as smear campaigns are exploding (just like they are with the victims.) They are likely to be kicked out of the art and possibly lose livelihoods for those who own schools in other areas. There is something to be said about this school where the people at the top are so lackluster in their leadership and their ethics and actions create nothing but dissent and internal fighting. In a healthy family all the children are healthy, healthy business is the same and this school is neither. It has never been healthy and never will be because the people in charge are operating from the grossest position of power and illness imaginable.
