I was hit by a cyclist who ran a stop sign. It did significant body damage to the right side of my car and smashed my windshield. Fortunately the cyclist was unharmed but I was left with my insurance to pay for all of the damage since he did not have insurance. What made me more upset was that he said to me "this will cost you". My lawyer put him in his place but that was another $1000.00 out of my pocket. Let's make bike registration required so that cyclists can at least help cover the cost of the road. Maybe the cops on bikes should ticket more cyclist who violation the law! What are they going to do when nobody drives cars and the tax revenue is gone that supports bike lanes?
