What theorhetical process was used to determine that there is no god? What is your proof? Humans are a funny sort. They gain a little basic knowledge about their surroundings and themselves and suddenly they're experts on everything in all of creation. You might be right, that religion has caused a great deal of death and pain. However, human ignorance about proper application of religious beliefs and some ethnic and religious groups failure at enlightenment cannot be used as an argument for the non-existence of god. The rationale doesn't work. I choose to believe. And once your numbers become a majority you can vote for what you want. Until then you are a small minority and we live in a democracy.
Sorry atheists, but humans are little more than an infestation on Earth. Thirty thousand years ago we were essentially still apes. And now we think we know it all. Including that there is no god! That seems a bit arrogant for a species that just stepped off its own planet less than 40 years ago. We can't even begin to describe what god really is. We still describe "IT" in humanoid terms because our limited thinking capabilities can't fathom what god really is
I find atheists to be a mirror image of the ultra religious. They are absolutists, their way is the only right way, and they want to impose it on everybody. I also love their explanation of how the universe started: "At first there was nothing, and then it exploded".
