First, it violates the win-win principle. When i give for free, and when i give away my time and dedication, i get almost nothing that benefits me. Rationally, i would be burnt out. And indeed that happened to me. And when there's no financial incentive, i dont go the extra mile -as i could- to improve the current state that my mentees were currently in. Furthermore, i also picked up that when i gave free mentoring, not many people did a full follow up. Perhaps because it is free, thus it is not as valued. There are many variety of reasons why somethings are not meant to be free. To answer your question, if the person has no money, then contribute by giving something else. Trade exchange, or skills exchange, etc. I think most coaches understand the position that i am in. :) Please continue to pour your wisdom okies. I got myself the omega fish oil. And gout continues for the next 3 weeks. When i check the ingredients, it contains sardines and anchovies, which are detrimental to gout diet. i am not too sure about this. However, ever since i've left the omega fish oils, pain is starting to relieve itself. No more omega fish oil for me. I guess dua syifaa' would be a great help. Thank you dewi.
