I haven't spoken with any of the protesters myself, and I definitely do not support their anti-capitalism message. It should really be an anti-corporatism message if they were fully educated on the issues. I'm just saying that we should stop enforcing these needless laws that restrict free speech and allow police to arrest non-violent people. Was Homeland Security, the agency that supposedly is employed to stop terrorists, needed to handle a few Eugene activists that are just hanging out peacefully? That seems excessive to me.

Look, we can all agree or disagree with their message, but as Americans who (supposedly) honor our rights to peaceably assemble and exercise free speech, we should defend them.
