What ever said and done by SIRASA , it is a trend setter in Sri Lankan media circle . May be some of them are not culturally acceptable. But, problem is that all the other media copy those latter ..
I hope you all remember , Sirasa did several programms which were exceptional
1. about the film industry in SL featuring Mr Rodny Warnakula
2. Api nodanna Live
3. Kamatha
4. Wedano
As per KIRULA... that was the ONLY channel that we could play on the morning 6 - 7.30 am while we were traveling with my two small children which played respectable good quality songs... They never played '" labour pain" like songs

I know several people who failed Anatomy in their 2nd year of medical schools and now became competent surgeons and a person who failed in Obstetrics in final year managed to became a Consultant Obstetrician.....

His brother Dulip Samaraweera was about two year senior to me At Ananda. He was a very talented player too. and also a good person . I dont know what happen to him.

u sud be more aware of current happening than this.....
What ' Reality' taking about is very true....., She is suppose to visit SL in OCt - NOV for opening of Commonwealth summit in here...
But,,,, we will have to face huge international crisis , if that summit not be held in here due to human right allegations....
Now that queen is ill..... UK can tell that queen will not travel SL because of her ill health . and hide the real reason ...

Pls allow me to show the down side of this type of activities involving SMALL CHILDREN.
I have seen several massive bill boards of these STAR CHILDREN seeking SMS, Some of them personally canvass in public places. Exactly like political campaigning. I personally know of one small girl who practiced for this till mid night for several months ..
I think no body knows the long term effect of these type of exposure to these little brains.
Exposing these little ones to this highly commercialized media who have no ethics whatsoever is in my opinion very dangerous.
