well al-jazeera is carried by the local cable access channel here in burlington vermont
interestingly enough
a small but vocal group of you-know-who
tried to have it removed
but failed after
a strong public outcry
now in what i believe
is an end-run comcast
is going after this 17 year old
local access channel
using what i believe to be
subterfuge in order to
bring it down
they are threatening
their financing
[which comes out of everyones
cable bill]
don't think it's going to work
