@Luke Thanks and absolutely, those who don't know about Twitter or give a hoot either way and are into others things and perspectives are fine with me, it's those I've come across that go on about how banal and useless Twitter is with no basis for how people are using it powerfully that I refer to in this post

Thanks Keith, in your opinion are these easily accessible techniques that can be learned and mastered without professional guidance? Either way, what and where are these resources? I have had some exposure to NLP which involves some of the principles you have mentioned. Simple reframing and anchoring techniques can be very powerful. I personally don't think such tools/skills are widely available or perhaps it is a matter of them not being publicised enough or communicated in simple, digestible language so people can see this is achievable and available to them. Of course, I would like to be provide wrong on this one..

Thanks Dave, I agree that great discoveries can and do emerge from undirected passions. Alfred Korzybski said "The map is not the territory," our perceptions of a situation are not always accurate representations of the actual realities that exist. I think is important to always keep your mind open to new opportunities and be flexible, as you might just find new passions and end points along the way on your journey.
