West Ham Till I Die : Zola: What Should Be Done

Im not sure zola goin now will make any difference, i feel the biggerst problem is that the players are not up for a fight and too many of them stroll around the pitch not putting any effort in (not scotty parker). its so frustrating when you pay all that money to go and watch the games and the players put in lacklustre perfomances like last night, for me its not the fact that we are losing games obviously i dont want us to lose games but its the way in which these defeats are coming with the players showing no fight and no passion basically just goin through the motions. In my opinion i think its because half of them probably dont care and wont be there next season anyway Upson a prime example of this. In summary i dont think its zolas who should face the heat the players need to stand up and be counted the problem is i dont think they have got it in them (not scotty parker).

West Ham Till I Die : Who Should Partner Cole?

i agree andyhammer i dont think freddie is up to it everytime iv seen him play he has been very inaffective and looks too nervous and unwilling to take a risk. However Nouble and Zavon look very exciting and with a bit of experience and guidance in the right direction could prove to be a fantastic partnership in the future lets just hope we can keep hold of them!!

West Ham Till I Die : Trying To Tell Us Something, Tony?

hi all, first time on here read debates regularly and thouroughly enjoy the banter and comments that are made. Really hope something happens soon involving these takeover bids and we get some stability at the club. If we do get a bit of money to spend zola has got to be smart unlike in the summer we need proven premier league players not a load of foreigners who havent got a clue about english football. Whilst i beleive franco has done ok. diamanti has shown glimpses of class (setpieces etc) i think he looks a very average player and a luxury which we dont need right now although has potential to improve in future. As for jiminez useless send him back to inter and da costa is not a patch on collins. We need to take a leaf out of fulhams book and get players in who know the prem league and can adjust straight away, Shorey would be a good buy as would sol campbell benjani and michael johnson possible from man city and possibly a cheeky bid for david bentley from the spuds would be good. However this all depends on whether a takeover actually happens fingers crossed!!!
