The Roots and Fugees gave me fits on the list. I can't argue with your reasoning on The Roots as I definitely prefer them as a group and they made more good albums. But, I went with the Fugees on the strength of the overall MC's vs. the Roots which is pretty much just Black Thought to me.

Those two could easily be flipped though.
