Today I planted my peas, giving me hope for the upcoming spring. Though my favorite is the tomato. I use it so many ways once it peaks in the summer. With the excess getting cooked down for the upcoming winter. This gives me the fresh tomato flavor when I need it most.

What I love about early spring is the signs of bird life around. Birds singing and the first visit from the robins and shortly after the hummingbirds. Along with that, opening up the windows and letting the sunshine and fresh air in to chase winter memories away.
