The Humble Libertarian : The case for mandatory GMO labeling - even if you believe in limited government and the free market

Really interesting. I wonder if the even MORE libertarian viewpoint would be that in a free market, we would choose not to buy from companies who didn't list their ingredients and have them verified through an independent "FDA"-ish agency?

The Humble Libertarian : Do Young Libertarians Become Middle-Aged Moderates?

Paul, I think it would be more subconscious than that. You would justify it somehow. A la "lesser of two evils" compromise.

The Supreme Court's initial arguments of Obamacare has made me wonder about that, Wes. Because I can see where many libertarians (including myself) see no substantive difference between Romney and Obama. But, if (and it's a big "if") a vote for Romney is the only shot at preventing the implementation of Obamacare, and all else being equal, some might see a moral need for a Romney vote. So, if the court strikes down Obamacare as unconstitutional ahead of time, libertarians could vote Johnson, and feel good about themselves?

The Humble Libertarian : Jon Huntsman would be a disaster as president. This video is proof enough.

Ok, here's a legitimate question. From a purely bottom line standpoint, despite his economic beliefs, wouldn't a non-interventionist Huntsman actually be MORE "fiscally conservative" than any non-Paul republican?

Grant, had the exact same thought when Sawyer asked that question. Couldn't believe his luck. Huge missed opportunity. Because a well-thought response of the tangible benefits of liberty could have been the soundbyte-backdrop of the rest of his campaign.

So, let's take the "cause" of libertarianism for example. I'm continually convinced in the moral and effectual justifications for liberty. Everything I see points in that direction. So, at this point, I'm just looking for the arguments that will convince everyone else. Maybe that's where these scientists are it. They're convinced. And if they think "Tom C's 1500 year reconstruction" might convince the rest of us, they're excited for it to come out.
