While I cannot stand the Saudies, as well as most of the other oil exporting countries (like Venezuela), I have a different take on how we should handle them:

Suck up every drop they have - buy their oil, and continue buying it until they run out.

THEN and only then, develop our own sources.

And don't sell them a drop from there forward.

I think you'll find them to suddenly be very cooperative when the shoe is on the other foot.

A Republican not afraid to stand up for what he believes, even if it pisses off the far right religious wing of the party.

Too bad that the far right wing doesn't recognize that if the Republicans are every going to get a firm hold on power in Washington, they will have to accept into their ranks a lot of people who's beliefs are more middle of the road.

Try paying attention a little bit - it is against Federal law to restrict the display of the American flag. The homeowners association cannot include such a provision since such a provision would be illegal.
