You forgot "we don't curse."

I said this earlier. Only way to keep Rusev credible while keeping Cena admirable.

Problem with that scenario is that the only way to end a "I Quit" match is to make your opponent say "I quit." It can't end by DQ

I know people say Rusev will lose somehow because of Lana, but maybe Lana will cost John Cena the match...at least indirectly. If WWE let's Rusev go full blown heel, he could be so desperate to win that he somehow threatens to hurt Lana unless Cena (perhaps handcuffed or restrained some other way) says "I quit!" Cena has too good a soul to let her get hurt right? I know the WWE probably won't go that route given their stance on domestic violence though.

Am I the only one that saw a subtle jab in his response? "John wins. Again." Maybe I'm reading into it too much

Majority of the people wanted Daniel Bryan to win...they didn't get their way. Majority people didn't want Reigns to win...they didn't get their way. A lot of people wanted the final three or four to include Daniel Bryan, Ziggler, Ambrose (myself included)...they didn't get their way. Also, I don't see it as a bad thing to go against the norm...even at the expense of getting boos.

Reading 100+ different statements complaining about the same thing. We get it...you're upset you didn't get your way. I'm a D. Bryan and Ziggler fan, but I'm not going to b**** and moan that they didn't win. Hell, I can't remember the last time my favorite going in actually won.
