Most of the world knows that Julian Assange is a political prisoner and that the British trial of Assange is a farcical theater of servility to its US bosses in Washington.

It's ironic that Trump and his porn queen wife fell victim to a virus that he first minimized as no worse than a flu. Over 205,000 lives have been lost on account of his administration's ineptitude and criminal negligence. He then scapegoated and maligned China in an attempt to distract attention from his own failure to contain the virus.

You can be rest assured that this undeserving excuse for a human being will receive the best medical attention money can buy while for the rest of us working class folk, we'll be lucky if we get a bed in some marginalized corner of the hospital wing.

Congress has shamefully prostituted itself to the powerful arms manufacturers and pro-Israel lobbyist to the point that it now wishes to legislate away our first amendment rights by penalizing any business, educational institution or individual organizing a boycott against the apartheid state of Israel. The organizing of BDS is a peaceful method of pressuring an unjust system of power to change its inhumane practices. Any foreign entity that can effectively control every facet of the US government to the point that our politicians place its interest over the working people here at home poses a serious problem that will only lead to a future crisis. Our legislators are walking on dangerous ground if they think they can trample on our first amendment rights by equating any criticism of Israel with anti-Semitism and penalizing ones right to boycott an apartheid state that regularly commits human rights violations. One has to wonder that if criticism of the state of Israel equals anti-Semitism than it would be logical to argue that any criticism of Nazi Germany during the 1930’s would have made any critic of that government anti-German. It would be wise to convey to the members of the Senate and the House to respect the sanctity of our first amendment rights because to erode them in any form, manner or fashion will only serve to further sow seeds of discord.

It will be interesting to see if Facebook's corporate guardians can reconcile overseeing a forum of free, respectful and balanced speech with the demands of pro-Israeli lobbyist who want to ban from social media any criticism of the Zionist apartheid state. Equating any criticism of the Israeli state as anti-Semitic and therefore liable to censorship would be a clear violation of the first amendment and bring us one step closer to totalitarianism.

The role of the Senate and the House in the persistent attempt to impose an Israel Anti-Boycott Law is an issue that is pitting the governing legislators against the overwhelming majority of people. The members of the working class and others struggling from day to day to make ends meet are not stupid.

They’ve witnessed their civil liberties and constitutional rights disappear within the span of 20 years under the Patriot and Homeland Security Acts. The American citizenry has experienced 9-11, the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and 2 military confrontations with Iran. They’ve been subjected to increased surveillance and violations of their privacy. At home they’ve seen the infrastructure gutted and basic services diminished through privatization and bloated military budgets. The eternal wars of occupation and the funding and training of terrorists to foster regime change throughout Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Latin America are trying the patience of the American people. In the midst of this permanent state of war are the dark hands of the military industrial complex, the intelligence agencies and the state of Israel.

The Zionist entity has spread to every facet of the US government and corporate media like a cancer. The rot has also pervaded our judicial system. Our charlatan politicians shamelessly approved a bill that quietly funneled 38 billion dollars to the apartheid state of Israel. This theft of our taxpaying money was done stealthily with bipartisan complicity during a time when 40 million US workers were unemployed and over 200,000 deaths caused by the Covid-19 pandemic had taken place. It appears that our political leaders are not only on the take from pro-Israel-Jewish Establishment lobby groups but the---under the radar---manner in which the bill was engineered points to cowardliness as well.

It has been the funding of eternal wars abroad and surveillance at home that has contributed to the erosion of our constitutional rights, increased disparity of wealth and the disappearance of the most basic of services essential for functioning on a daily basis. Any society that governs for the benefit of a small group of powerful elite at the expense of the overwhelming majority of its people---in terms of heightened repression and the erosion of essential services---is by definition a failed state. The ruling class that governs this nation certainly fits that criteria.

The domestic apparatus of repression is generously funded to keep the populace at home under control while the US imperial elites conduct their ongoing wars of aggression throughout the world against its brown inhabitants. The military industrial complex has most recently been subsidized to the tune of 738 billion dollars to fund armament industries and eternal wars of aggression. Both parties are complicit in this act; 138 Democrats aligned themselves with Republicans in approving this monstrous budget in the midst of a pandemic that’s ravaging the population combined with skyrocketing unemployment. The Democratic Party leadership responded to police brutality and the BLM protesters with empty meaningless platitudes. Meanwhile they have no problem funding the military surveillance state that finances external wars and repression at home. It seems that wars of aggression and pumping taxpaying dollars to weapon’s manufacturers are one of the few areas where members of both parties consistently cooperate to reach a bipartisan consensus.

Who can believe anything coming from the US State Department or deranged hypocrites like Trump and Pompeo? Should we listen to our corporate media pundits that give us sanctimonious sermons regarding freedom and democracy while ignoring the plight of Julian Assange and America's role in the horrific slaughter of Muslims through-out the Middle East?. It's clear that the US leadership has been blaming China about everything from the Corona Virus to stealing US technological secrets to committing human rights abuses in Hong Kong and Xiang Jiang. US and Western leaders allege that Hwa Wei is being used for surveillance purposes throughout the world by the Chinese State; in fact it has been the US and Israel that has used soft-ware and other spyware that allow them access through back doors into our communication devices. Edward Snowden had to flee to escape US imperial imprisonment because he exposed to the world the abuses of the state conducting domestic spying through surveillance. Israel was also conducting surveillance operations in the US under the nose of our government without the slightest peep from politicians, bureaucratic officials, or the corporate media. How come? Now we are supposed to believe all the propagandistic lies being fed to us about China and Russia.

We don't have to look that far to find government corruption and criminal abuse. There is plenty of it here at home. Let's not allow ourselves to be manipulated by our own inept and unscrupulous leaders that are only trying to distract our attention from their own criminality.

Once again one suspects the grubby fingerprints of the US on this latest allegation tying Putin and the Kremlin to the purported Navalny poisoning. Any rational state would ask why in the world would Putin want to poison a man with a 2 percent following in a nation of 147 million inhabitants? Navalny isn’t even a serious rival. On the landscape of Russian politics, he is irrelevant. It appears the German intelligence services and NATO are working in concert with their nefarious imperial bosses in Washington to fabricate the poison narrative in order to sabotage the Nord Stream project. You don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to wonder that if Navalny was poisoned with novichok--- as certain circles in the US and West allege----why wasn’t any one close to him harmed as well? Western media propaganda was constantly bombarding us with how lethal novichok was upon touch or close proximity during the alleged Skripal poisonings in the UK. One has only to question the timing of this ordeal to suspect the motive behind these allegations currently disseminating from western politicians and their media gramophones.
