I bought Arthur Kemps' book and found it very interesting. Unfortunately, there was no information as to how we could get the appropriate blood tests and from where in order to trace our ancesters back through time and poss. to europe about 20,000 years ago. Does anyone have information on this? I've been on all sorts of sites that offer different tests but I'm not convinced by some. Ta

There are indeed many books out there by so-called-SAS that are like fiction. I can recommend *Eye of the Storm* by Peter Ratcliffe. He spent 25 years in the SAS (went in from the Paras) and eventually retired as a Major in charge of one of the TA SAS regiments. Just before Iraq he had been made RSM but did fight due to some very odd circumstances. He started off in Oman, the Falklands etc. He does give his opinion on all the books, Chris Ryan he thought added bits for publication but that was all. He was very unhapy with McNabs' book, others he was scathing about. What is interesting IIRC was that the debriefings were video taped. It's a very interesting and often funny book.

TRY: www.supportoursoldiers.co.uk I think this the correct address. IIRC: It was set up about 5 years ago and the number of care parcels sent has rocketed. There is a great deal of info to read.Generally, I think they go to all sorts of soldiers - with/without families and I think they share them with other parts of the military eg navy. It's a really good site

Take him off the plane at Khandahar, into snatch landrover, drive to Bastion (ambushes, IEDs and all). Strip search him for safety reasons (gloves on chaps!) Toss him into the tents that 8 years of sweaty squaddies have suffered in. THEN TELL HIM TO SUCK AIR! I cannot say what I think about this total waste of space. He is making me feel sick on a daily basis. DO NOT FORGET - they took 12 weeks off, not only to save gordy but to give mandleson and the people who worked on getting Obama elected the chance to work out a strategy, they are still trying to put it in place while fending off furious voters. I know how you feel. I was born in Somerset and my family goes back I think something like 800 years and probably more. I find it degrading to be completely ignored as I'm an Englishwoman and proud of it. I am part of the indigenous peoples (NOT according to that female Greer) of Britain and that will not change. How dare all the main parties expect us to vote for them while trying to make us disappear under an avalanche of invaders. It's a pity I don't drink - I could just do with some proper Scrumpy!

William I did not understand why Greer was on the panel. It became clear when Mr Griffin said the BNP represented the indigenous people ie the English, Scots, Welsh and Irish. The sneer of contempt on her face was joined by smugness when she informed him that the only indigenous people were africans. All others flowed up from the south (not true, they also flowed across europe from the east) and , IIRC, intimated that the BNP had no basis because we were some sort of immigrants with no right to any political representation at all. I think that is the point when my brain went into meltdown l. I don't remember the Romans, I was probably too busy yelling at my TV! Is it possible for the Admins to find video of all she said and put it up on a separate thread? It was difficult to make out what she was saying because of the baying mob but I want to be accurate. I am trying to find and email address to I can complain to the BBC and to her personally. Thank you

I'm sat here on my computer (obviously), I am watching Warship and I have a desk lamp with an energy saving lamp in it. That's it. I don't turn on lights and prowl my house mostly in the dark. I cannot afford to have my 3 energy bulbs on in my livingroom As for gas, I prefer to stirfry. I won't cook anything that requires long stewing, it's too expensive. Forget about central heating not had it on in years. That's my reality. I'm getting close to not being able to afford even this. To say that I am beyond Fury is an understatement.

I have no idea if the IMF was involved. Utilities were privatised by EU edict. It was supposed to apply to all EU countries - as usual the French/German axis, who dictate to us, didn't follow it. As a result the French energy co. EDF (state backed) and German (?EON or Centrica?) started buying up our energy resources. As prices rose, as did the ire of those subjected to them - IIRC I think the French capped any increases in costs of energy to the French. Not sure if the Germans did the same (probably!) As a result the way to get their profits, and increase them is to charge US! That's why our costs are so high and why the companies WILL NOT be dropping them. I know somewhere I have a list of UK energy companies and who they are owned by but I cant find it. However, if you look up the article below you can see about nuclear power, the French, and how it was described in the French Press. Excellent stuff. Odinga and Obambi' cousins of sorts. The elections didn't go hOdingas way so riots and murder of opposition. Inc. a former Kenyan international athlete, others injured, one was able to run the London Marathon - he was lucky. Kenya - about 80% Christian, 10% muslim - so last 10% probably animists or other. Somewhere, I think I have a note that shows the agreement Odinga signed with Muslims to turn Kenya muslim, think it was signed before elections. I will try to find it.
