en-us https://www.intensedebate.com/users/497133 Comments by MODERN1ST http://techcrunch.com/2010/06/02/mark-zuckerberg-talks-and-swerves-around-facebook-privacy/#IDComment78353767 i used to complain about facebook as much as anyone else. i got tired of it after it became clear that they will not change and that they view their users as little more than depersonalised content to be served up to their real customers - marketers and advertisers. i'm not interested in being fodder for online spammers (er, sorry... marketers) nor in serving up information about my friends to them either. since facebook's business model requires them to degrade its users and their relationships in order to make money off them it's clear they're never going to change. i quit facebook yesterday.i think people who continue to bang on about how facebook's policies bug them out should realise that facebook will never change - it will only get worse and slummier. it's time to put up or shut up: just quit facebook and stop talking about it.
